ABC Boat Licence Venue - Taren Point

Our Taren Point location is our southern-most venue, and gives us the flexibility to head up the Georges River or head out onto historic Botany Bay for your General Boat Licence Course or Boat & Jet Ski/PWC Licence Course.

It's 10 minutes drive from Caringbah, Gymea, and Sans Souci, or 15 minutes from Cronulla, Hurstville, and Sutherland.

You'll see the affluent homes around Sylvania Waters that are built on drained and reclaimed swampland, offering water frontages and private jetties.

Though we won't be able to get there during the course, nearby Cronulla Beach is a popular summer spot, and the Sydney International/Domestic Airport sends up to 80 aircraft into the skies each hour as we drive on the waters below.

We'll start your Australian Boating College Sydney course at the Hawkesbury Reserve Boat Ramp, which is tucked in the back of Sylvania Waters along Hawkesbury Esplanade.

Address:

Hawkesbury Reserve Boat Ramp,
1 Moruya Ave,
Sylvania Waters, NSW 2224

Once you've booked your course and have paid, we'll send out an email and a SMS text message with the start location and time.

You might see our ABC Instructors launching our colourful vessels while you wait.

Amenities:

Public bathrooms are at the back of the trailer car park, in a brown cinderblock building with grey tin roof, barely a minute's walk from the boat ramp.

There aren't any food or drink options at this location.

Our theory location is a 9 minute drive from the boat ramp.
