One of our most popular venues to book thanks to its proximity to Sydney's more affluent suburbs, Cammeray is located in the Lower North Shore of Sydney, and is a convenient drive for those above the Harbour Bridge.
It's only 15 minutes drive from Chatswood, Mosman, and Lane Cove, or 30 minutes from Epping, Manly, and St Ives.
During the course you'll get to take in the views of Middle Harbour while completing your General Boat Licence Course, or Boat & Jet Ski/PWC Licence Course.
Hundreds of luxury yachts line the waters as we drive out past the Northbridge Golf Club and into the open spaces around Castlecrag and Seaforth.

We'll start your Australian Boating College Sydney course at Tunks Park Boat Ramp, which is past the grassy ovals at the Tunks Park Sports Field.

Parking your car at this venue is free.
The car park may be busy on Saturdays due to school sport, so leave some extra time to park up the hill on Lower Cliff Avenue.
Don't park in the trailer spaces as you'll get a large fine from Willoughby Council!
Once you've booked your course and have paid, we'll send out an email and a SMS text message with the start location and time.
For Tunks Park, we meet on the wharf beside the boat ramp, which is located by the water through the car park.
When our Australian Boating College boats pull alongside and our Instructors greet you in uniform, you know you're in the right spot!
Public bathrooms are provided at Tunks Park, located in a red brick building a level 4-minute walk from the boat ramp.
There aren't any options to purchase food at this location.

Access to the multi-storey car park is from Palmer St, where parking is plentiful and free.
There is a small outdoor car park on Abbott St, but this fills up quickly and may not have space.
We'll meet you inside NORTHS, and your ABC Instructor will be waiting in the classroom.

Being a Club means there are plenty of bathrooms.
There are also a few choices to purchase lunch, if you choose:
NORTHS Cafe offers small snacks and sandwiches, as well as hot drinks.
NORTHS Pantry offers sit-down meals and modern Australian dining.
Australian Boating College Sydney cannot provide transport between practical and theory venues for students under 18.
You must organise this transfer prior to course attendance.
A Parent or Legal Guardian is required to be present with a student under 18 in some parts of this course venue.
Students under 18 are able to attend the practical boating experience without a Parent or Legal Guardian present onboard.
As per RMS guidelines we require a Parent or Legal Guardian to sign consent for a student aged 12-16 to attend our course.
This involves sighting ID for Parent/Legal Guardian and also ID for the student.
